Tweaking Sysctl: Battery Life & Performance Android

Talk about Android battery life and performance as if there never was never-ending. On the one hand if you want to improve performance, inevitably will usually inversely affect the battery life. And vice versa. Human desire is confusing: D
There are a few tweaks to improve performance and durable batteries, one with sysctl config. Here's how to make dough

  • save
  • copy file sysctl.conf tsbt ke /system/etc
* to run the script page, open 'terminal', type su then sysctl-p
* see the result type sysctl-a | grep vm and / or sysctl-a | grep kernel to see the kernel value.
* feel the difference, running a few hours or days: D

AutoRun script above each time booting yet. For can autorun on boot :
  • create a file in /system/ect/init.d
  • Let's suppose you create a file with the name 01sysctl
  • open as text with ES Explorer or similar
  • content with script
#!/system/bin/sh
sysctl -p
  • save
  • set permission rwxr-xr-x or 777
  • reboot and see successful autorun on boot or with the command sysctl-a | grep xx as above via the terminal.
If there are some scripts that can not autorun when booting, check if you are using any other script or system settings that function the same. for example setting zram in CM9, if enabled then the line will not work because vm.swappiness with zram overwrite the settings
.
Value or the figures above may be slightly different from that you often find. In fact there are aggressive as in vm.swappiness, and the value of vm.drop_caches, then what is good for your device? Try it first and see the results: D

Values or figures above may be suitable blm with all ROM and / or device, please try and test yourself as needed. You can change the value, delete one or more rows, added another line is also not a problem. Congratulations to experiment.

guide to find a secure application

Not without reason why that app in the Android Store counted fairly rapid development. In just less than a year, about 100 thousand applications collected there. Google did not implement the system as tight as Apple's App Store approval for new applications in the Android Store release
Is everyone safe? In the system safe from viruses. Google's mobile OS is based on Linux creations. Normal virus will not run there. Not that you necessarily should not dissolve in the euphoria of installing any apps in the Android Store on your Android smartphone.
What are the risks? The greatest risk is to install a spyware application or it could be a phishing scam. It could be that the application to steal personal data from your smartphone. It is also possible to make your system even more severe, and make smartphones increasingly slow performance or even hang. While phishing scams could mean steal passwords or other security issues. Such as you can transact payments via credit card or through PayPal, beware. Make sure the application you are using is safe from the dangers of phishing and do not steal (sending secretly) log details of your transaction.
Prevention

Many security applications on the Android Market. You can select them. However, the use of security application that will take your Android system resources. Most of the applications that aim to erase the data (wiping) when the handheld is lost. Ropes can be observed below

Check Rating. Each application Android Market has star rating. Biggest point: 5. That's the easiest way to see if the app is good and safe. Four or five star app worth installing. Three stars or less ... forget it

Read the comments. The comments contained within each application sometimes be decisive decision worthwhile. When confused the choice of 2-3 applications most positive comments could be a green light for you which applications to install and compatible with your Android device.

Use Google. If the rating and comments are still less find a review about the application via Google or other search engines that you trust. Research moment will not be much time consuming and the results will be very useful to you later on.

Check Permissions. Any apps that are installed will require Permissions access to some options such as data, Internet connections, permission to use the phone, send SMS, read the schedule on the calendar, and so on. Previous perhaps you do not know and do not know it yet granting excessive permissions to an app would be very dangerous for Android devices and can be detrimental to your own in the future. For applications that have been installed you can check the permissions of each app in Settings> Applications> Manage Applications.

Wary of Update. Update application might not always good especially when there is a request to change or add new Permission. You need to check the permissions correctly additions or changes to update the application. If you do not know and really do not understand your mending skip it.

Non-Market sources. Be extra careful if you enable Settings> Applications and click Unknown sources. Need to check the true usefulness of the applications you want to install from there. To be sure, again, check its permissions. To be sure many sources of Non-Market apps on Android.

Report Suspicious Applications. If you find an application that contains a security risk immediately report it to Google. Despite approval from Google is very easy for new applications in the Android Market, Google will act quickly to remove the application which was considered a great risk for the user. The trick? Scroll to the bottom of the application in the Android Market and select Flag as Inappropriate. Be careful and be smart android user, Androiders :))
